A close up of the stand and rear brake assembly. I fitted a new chain, the original being very worn.

A close up of the finished centre section of the bike. The carburettor took some cleaning, it was full of silt. The aluminium gearbox casing polished up well and the black on the cylinder fins finished the engine up nicely.

The finished restoration. With the exception of the headlamp, as near original as I could make it. Note the little parcel carrier over the rear wheel, I remember carrying passengers on one of those. There is no rear suspension, hence the huge springs at the rear of the saddle.
